We are looking for a talented Azure Data Integration Engineer to design and implement data integration solutions on the Azure platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Azure services and tools related to data integration, such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and others. You will collaborate closely with data engineers, data architects, and business stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of integrated solutions that meet business needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
– Design, build, and support ETL solutions within the Azure cloud space to move data between business
systems.
– Work with Azure Data Factory, SQL, REST APIs, and other technologies to develop and maintain data
integration and processing workflows.
– Code and unit test solution components.
– Assist with the development of IT project plans and provide time estimates for assigned work.
– Strong understanding of Azure data services, including Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake Storage,
REST APIs and Azure Synapse Analytics.
– Experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) or similar tools for database development and
administration.
– Troubleshoot and debug issues and provide timely resolution.
– Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with the team.
– Collaborate with data engineers and architects to understand data requirements and translate them
into technical specifications.
– Build efficient and scalable data pipelines that ensure optimal performance and data quality.
– Perform data profiling, validation, and cleansing to ensure accuracy and reliability of data integrated
across systems.
– Work closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand their data
integration requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
– Troubleshoot and debug data integration issues and provide timely resolutions.
– Ensure compliance with data security and privacy policies and regulations throughout all data
integration processes.
– Document technical specifications, data lineage, and other relevant documentation as needed.
– Stay current with Azure data integration technologies and industry trends to continuously improve data
integration processes and solutions.
– Integrate ERP systems with existing applications and external services.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
– Experience using Azure technologies, specifically Azure Data Factory, for ETL operations
– Familiarity with Viewpoint One or other ERP accounting systems
– Familiarity with inventory management systems
– Familiarity with UKG Workforce Management (formerly Kronos) or other timekeeping systems
– Familiarity with the IBM Maximo platform
– Familiarity with C# .NET, Python, or other programming languages
– Associate or bachelor’s degree in business or computer science (or 4 years relevant work experience)
– Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
– Proven experience with ERP integrations and customization
